Fields Church,

Halloween at the Y is just around the corner on 10/22 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Cooper Y. Please pray for a successful event. Our needs for the event are candy donations, volunteers for Fields tables, and people to host trunks. Several families have extra trunk-or-treat games to loan out, so don’t let that keep you from volunteering.

We expect 500 families to attend. Please join me in thanking God that “In him (Christ) was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” John 1:4-5. Ask God “to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness. I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.” Isaiah 42:7-8.

Details: Entry is 1 canned good per person and costumes (no masks please) are encouraged. Candy can be brought to church next Sunday, to the event, or to any AMA YMCA during normal hours. There will be a BBQ food truck. Trunk setup is 4:30 - 5:15.
